An agent has jetted in for West Ham United transfer talks as David Moyes looks to seal doppelt deal for German defenders.
West Ham need to make at least four or five quality signings and time is running out with just three weeks left of the three-month summer window.
Moyes’ squad for the opening day defeat to Man City exposed worrying weaknesses and a lack of depth in the squad.

The Hammers had just one centre-back in their matchday squad and Issa Diop, who was not involved, has since been sold to Fulham.
West Ham need players in a host of positions but centre-back and left-back are the most pressing.
Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth and Get French Football News are reporting West Ham have submitted a second bid for German central defender Thilo Kehrer having seen their first offer rejected by PSG.

And today Hammers website KUMB claimed Moyes is also interested in Kehrer’s compatriot, left-back Ismail Jakobs of Monaco.
Now it seems discussions are advancing after claims that an agent has jetted in for West Ham transfer talks as Moyes looks to seal a doppelt deal for German defenders.
KUMB claim Kehrer’s agent Dirk Hebel (pictured on the left at the top of this story) has flown to London for talks over personal terms in the event West Ham get a deal agreed with PSG for the defender, who has one year left on his contract.

And as the report also points out, Jakobs is represented by the same agency Dirk Hebel’s Sports Consulting.
“Despite the current impasse, Kehrer’s agent Dirk Hebel is expected to arrive in London today to discuss personal terms for the player, who is entering the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 champions and is considered surplus to requirements at Le Parc des Princes…” KUMB reports.
“West Ham have made an enquiry into the availability of left back Ismail Jakobs, who is represented by the same agency as Kehrer.

“The pacy full back featured on 28 occasions for the Ligue 1 side during the 2021/22 campaign and has appeared in both of the club’s Champions League qualifiers so far this season.”
The fact Kehrer and Jakobs are under the same agency will undoubtedly help.
But only if West Ham can get fees and deals agreed with PSG and Monaco.

And when it comes to West Ham, as we have seen previously, that is a big if.
Fingers crossed for a German double deal because both Kehrer and Jakobs are quality young players who would both be upgrades on what Moyes has at his disposal.
