Agent Edson Alvarez is getting to work on his friend who is being linked with a move to West Ham with his response to Santiago Gimenez’s social post.
West Ham need to strike a light on their forward search because they’re a striker light.
With Gianluca Scamacca gone and Michail Antonio possibly on the way out too, there’s no doubt need to sign a striker in the summer transfer window.
David Moyes has been playing down his desire to sign a new forward publicly. But privately he will be thinking the same thing.
The Scot has been championing Jarrod Bowen as a forward option. But should something happen to West Ham’s Prague hero, where would the goals come from then in a fiercely competitive Premier League?

This morning we carried a report on claims from Holland that West Ham are sounding out Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez.
Gimenez is a Mexico teammate of West Ham new boy Edson Alvarez.
And agent Alvarez is getting to work on his friend who is being linked with a move to West Ham with a response to Gimenez’s social post.
Alavrez posted a picture of himself on Instagram sporting his new West Ham shirt with the Mexico flag draped over his shoulders, saying: “Come on you Irons.”
Gimenez responded saying: “Good brother.”
But it was Alvarez’s simple response to the Feyenoord star’s comment which will interest fans.

“Bruh,” he said alongside suggestive eyes emojis in a clear hint at the transfer speculation surrounding West Ham’s interest in the forward.
You can see the exchange in the Hammers star’s post with the comments below.
It’s easy to see why West Ham want Gimenez. He is a very hard-working nuisance of a striker who never gives defenders a moment of peace.
Gimenez signed for Feyenoord last summer and scored 23 goals in 46 games for the Dutch club in his debut season.
He has four goals in 18 appearances for the national team, many of which have come alongside new West Ham signing Alvarez, who became the fourth Mexican to sign for the Hammers last week.
Will he be quickly followed by a fifth?
And West Ham fans will be hoping agent Alvarez can also get to work on another player he knows well.
A certain former Ajax teammate called Mohammed Kudus.
