West Ham United allegedly now face competition from Italian giants Napoli for Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.
That’s according to a report from Calcio Napoli 24 who claim that Napoli are ready to pay £21 million for Chelsea ace Broja.

This news comes after Chelsea apparently performed a U-turn on the 20-year-old striker.
It was claimed a few days ago that the Blues had agreed to sell Broja to West Ham permanently.
But then Thomas Tuchel insisted that the Albanian is not for sale this summer (Yahoo). Of course it’s in his and the club’s best interest to say that.
However, West Ham could face another problem…

Napoli now battling West Ham for Chelsea striker Broja
With Tuchel insisting that he wants to keep the 20-year-old, the Hammers seemingly already face an uphill battle to sign him.
And now Napoli could be a big problem for us as well.
Calcio Napoli 24 claim that the Naples outfit are ready to offer £21 million for the Chelsea hitman.
The good news, however, is that that is £9 million less than West Ham have offered and the East London outfit are allegedly prepared to offer him a larger salary as well (Calcio Napoli 24).
The main problem for West Ham will be Chelsea actually deciding to keep Broja and offering him the chance to play regular football at Stamford Bridge.
David Moyes is right to make the Chelsea striker his number one transfer target this summer. He’d be superb for West Ham.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.
Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.
The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).
It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.
The striker absolutely tore the Hammers apart last season, bagging one goal and one assist in three appearances against us. He gave our defenders nightmares and was a total menace to our back line during all three clashes.
It seems as though West Ham face an uphill battle to sign Broja this summer though, with Chelsea playing hardball and Napoli joining the race for the Albanian’s signature.
