West Ham United could be prepared to sell one of our players to Wolves this summer it seems.

Julen Lopetegui has made sweeping changes at West Ham already in the summer transfer window.

When the Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal is confirmed, it will be eight new arrivals at the club this summer, and there could be plenty more business before the window slams shut.

It may well be a case now of shifting on the deadwood, with Lopetegui trying to force the likes of Kurt Zouma out the door.

However, there are plenty of other players who could be up for the chop this summer.

It’s time for West Ham to claw back some funds and move some big earners off the wage bill.

Michail Antonio could leave West Ham to join Wolves this summer

According to a report from Give Me Sport, Wolves are keen to sign West Ham forward Michail Antonio this summer.

And it is suggested that if Wolves made an official move for him, the Hammers could be tempted into selling.

This is quite the U-turn, after it was claimed only two months ago that Michy was expected to stay at the London Stadium, and be given a big chance to impress Lopetegui.

He also admitted recently that he could have left West Ham every single summer he has been with the club.

Antonio, who earns £100k-a-week will not be our number one striker this season, after the arrival of Niclas Fullkrug.

The Jamaica international has been a great servant for West Ham over the years, bagging 82 goals and 40 assists in 308 appearances for the club.

However, Michail Antonio has regressed badly for West Ham over the past 12 months, after he lost the explosive pace that made him so dangerous.

Fullkrug is a huge upgrade on the 34-year-old, and I fully expect the German to lead the line for us this season.

Whether Antonio will stay at the club as a squad player remains to be seen though.
