Blackburn have already identified a replacement for the 24-year-old hitman in the form of Toulouse striker Rhys Healey (Lancashire Telegraph).

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a top class striker to the London Stadium this summer.

And Adam Armstrong certainly fits into that category.

The Blackburn striker could be available for as much as £25 million this summer (The Sun) or as little as £8 million (The Daily Mail).

The truth is, he will probably cost somewhere in the middle of those two figures.

Rovers want to bring Toulouse striker Rhys Healey to Ewood Park this summer if Armstrong leaves (Lancashire Telegraph).

We think that Blackburn planning for life without the 24-year-old is a great sign for West Ham. And we cannot wait around. Let’s get this one wrapped up and done as soon as possible.

Armstrong would be a great addition for the Hammers.

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray recently described the former Newcastle ace as an explosive centre-forward (Evening Express).

The Blackburn hitman is incredibly mobile, possesses blistering pace and works his socks off each and every time he takes to the pitch.

He racked up an incredible 28 goals in 40 league games and finished the season behind only Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the Championship goalscoring charts (Transfermarkt).

If Blackburn want £15 million for Armstrong, West Ham need to pay it. He’s exactly the kind of striker Moyes likes to work with.

And we think there is a very good chance that this transfer will happen this summer.
