AC Milan reportedly want to sign brilliant West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report form Milan Press who claim that Milan are keen to bolster their wide attacking department at the San Siro this summer.
And Hammers star Bowen allegedly tops the Serie A giant’s list.
It’s no surprise. The 25-year-old has been in truly sensational form for West Ham this season.
Bowen has bagged 16 goals and 11 assists in 48 games for the Hammers this term (Transfermarkt) and he is now one of the two most important players David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium, alongside Declan Rice of course.
Moyes will obviously want to keep him in East London. If AC Milan come in for Bowen though, we might just have a problem. Having said that, the Italian report has exposed itself with the ridiculous claim of how much it would take to prise Jarrod away from the Hammers…
AC Milan chasing move for West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen
Milan Press claims that Milan want to sign Bowen this summer.
On face value, that’s not hard to believe.
Here’s where their story falls apart though…
Milan Press reckon that Bowen could be signed for just €30 million (£25 million) this summer.
Considering the fact that we signed him for around £22 million, there is absolutely now way we’d sell him for just a £3 million profit is there!
Bowen is worth at least double the amount that Milan Press are quoting and Claret and Hugh reckon that David Sullivan would not sell the 25-year-old for anything less than £70 million.
Milan Press are clearly well wide of the mark with their report here.
AC Milan may well want to sign Jarrod Bowen. But they had better be prepared to spend north of £60/70 million if they way to bring the 25-year-old to the San Siro in the summer transfer window.
