Abdallah Sima is being chased by West Ham and Leeds United.

Surely the Hammers have a huge advantage over the Whites in the race to sign the 19-year-old attacker, however.

West Ham have been linked with the Senegalese youngster since January by multiple sources including Eurosport, ExWHUemployee and the Mirror (Friday January 8th, Page 61).

Meanwhile, Football Insider have claimed that Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa wants to being Sima to Elland Road as well.

Abdallah Sima will surely pick West Ham over Leeds won’t he?

The Hammers have already made two signings from Slavia Prague – Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

And Slavia Prague manager Jindrich Trpisovsky has admitted discussions have taken place with West Ham over Sima, as quoted via the Czech club’s official Twitter page:

“There is interest in Abdallah Sima. There’s a set price at which he could leave. “We focus on managing the rest of the season with us. We talked about it with the boys from West Ham, where they have him very high on the list of possible reinforcements.”

Sima will surely be attracted to the idea of moving to London. He will surely also be comforted by the idea of having Soucek and Coufal waiting for him at West Ham.

You cannot underestimate the importance of that for Sima when deciding where his next move will be.

He is just 19 after all.

Now, the 19-year-old is not an out and out striker. He can play anywhere along the front-line and has mostly operated out wide this season.

Sima certainly has the attributes needed to evolve into a proper number nine, however.

He has enjoyed a fantastic campaign as well, with 19 goals and eight assists in 36 games to his name this term (Transfermarkt).

It is thought that the 19-year-old could be available for just £25 million this summer.

That sounds like great value to us considering his undoubted quality and potential.

And we believe that there is every chance that Sima will end up at West Ham rather than Leeds this summer.

If that happens, it would be a big blow for the Whites considering just how good Sima is.

Come on Sully, make it happen!
