6pm West Ham transfer deadline day roundup…
Wow, what a day this is turning out to be for the Hammers fans.
After a quiet start to the window, David Moyes has now brought Alphonse Areola, Kurt Zouma and Nikola Vlasic to the London Stadium.
And it appears as though Alex Kral is close to being announced as a West Ham player according to Spartak Moscow general director Evgeny Melezhikov.
The Hammers’ business is far from finished, however. Links continue to appear regarding potential deals for numerous different players.
So could the Hammers complete any more signings by 11pm tonight? It certainly seems as though there is a good chance that could happen.
Here’s the latest state of affairs…
6pm West Ham transfer deadline day roundup
David Moyes still has a chance to bring Jesse Lingard to London Stadium before tonight’s deadline according to a report from Sky Sports.
Conor Coventry is on his way to Peterborough on a season-long loan (ExWHUemployee).
Talks with Jonathan Bamba’s agent are continuing but as things stand, nothing is close (ExWHUemployee).
Lyon striker Moussa Dembele could be a late target for West Ham (KUMB).
Xande Silva is wanted by Greek side Aris Thessaloniki whilst Mesaque Dju could leave as well (ExWHUemployee).
Darren Randolph could be set for a loan exit from the London Stadium (ExWHUemployee).
Hopefully Kral is announced asap and we get a deal for Bamba or an established centre-forward done and dusted before the window closes.
Whatever happens though, most West Ham fans will be very happy with our transfer business over the past couple of days.
