Konstantinos Mavropanos has agreed terms with West Ham United ahead of a proposed move to the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham desperately need to sign a top-class central defender this summer, with Craig Dawson having left to join Wolves in January.

And it seems as though the Greece international could be the man for the job at the London Stadium…

Moyes has already made two summer signings in the form of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.

And Bild now are reporting that the Scot is closing in on his third summer signing, with the 25-year-old Stuttgart ace having agreed terms with the Hammers.

It took a while for West Ham’s transfer business to kick into gear but now it seems like everything is starting to come together.

I think that the former Arsenal man will be a very solid addition for West Ham this summer.

Standing at 6ft 4in tall, the Greek centre-back is incredibly dominating in the air, and he’s very good with his feet as well. He’s not the quickest of defenders but reads the game really well.

Konstantinos Mavropanos possesses all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League and he’ll be a hugely important addition going forward for West Ham as far as I’m concerned.

If the Hammers sign the former Gunner for £17 million, I firmly believe that it will end up looking like fantastic business for us.
