West Ham United must go all out to sign talented Stuttgart left-back Borna Sosa in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Stuttgart have to sell the 24-year-old in January due to financial problems.
And it is claimed that the Bundesliga side will ask for anywhere between €15 million (£13 million) and €25 million (£21 million), depending on how he performs for Croatia at the World Cup out in Qatar.

He ended up staying at Stuttgart, although it seems as though that was just delaying the inevitable.
The Croatian is an elite talent and has absolutely everything that we currently lack in the left-back department.
And now Hammers boss David Moyes has to act…
Borna Sosa door open for West Ham
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Stuttgart will be forced to sell the left-back this winter:
This is an opportunity that the Hammers cannot afford to pass up on.
The Scot seemingly has a great chance to fix a problem area of his squad for a really reasonable fee.
Aaron Cresswell has improved over the past month or so, but he’s still well off the levels required to play as a starting left-back for a Premier League club.
Emerson arrived from Chelsea in the summer but hasn’t established himself at the London Stadium whatsoever.
Sosa would be a massive upgrade on both of those players.
We really hope that Moyes manages to sign the eight-capped Croatia international. We’d love to see him at the London Stadium.
The 24-year-old is a top-class left-back and can also operate as a left wing-back. He is incredibly quick. In fact, he recently told the Bundesliga’s official website that he has been the fastest player in every single team he has ever played for:

As far as I can remember, my strengths have always been my speed and a good left foot. Not just crosses but in general. Passing, shooting, free kicks, corners, et cetera. Regardless of which team I played in, I was the fastest in testing. This is also the case here in Stuttgart. So I would single out these things as my strengths.
He has been described as an ‘explosive’ left-back/left wing-back.
In 28 Bundesliga outings last season, Sosa has bagged one goal and eight assists. During those appearances, the 24-year-old averaged 0.8 tackles, 0.9 interceptions and 2 clearances per game (Who Scored).
He possesses a wicked delivery as well.
The Stuttgart ace has bags of energy and is just as much of a weapon in the final third as he is defensively.
Signing Borna Sosa for £21 million would be sensational business for West Ham in January.
Let’s just hope that he’s still on David Moyes’s radar.
