Deadline day is now upon us, and the transfer news and rumours surrounding West Ham United has been fairly quiet on the whole.
However, there are a few new nuggets of information reaching us this afternoon.
West Ham are believed to have completed a move to sign Evan Ferguson from Brighton on deadline day, and that’s obviously great news.
Ferguson has been pictured behind the scenes at the London Stadium in a West Ham kit.
But can we expect any other new signings before the January transfer window slams shut?

The recruitment team at the London Stadium are clearly still trying their level best to being in some more new faces.
Here are the latest news and rumours…
1pm West Ham transfer news and rumours update on deadline day
The Hammers are obviously still very active in the market.
According to Ben Jacobs, who was speaking on talkSPORT (3 February, 8:51 am), West Ham have had another bid rejected for young Celtic striker Daniel Cummings.
The Hammers will have to offer closer to £750k in order to get a deal done before tonight’s deadline.

In other striker news, West Ham are set to miss out in the race to sign Eli Junior Kroupi, according to Sky Sports, with Lyon on the verge of obtaining the teenager’s signature.
Meanwhile, Shakthar Donetsk are said to be interested in signing young Hammers winger Luis Guilherme on deadline day (Graeme Bailey).
Unfortunately Ferguson will not be able to face Chelsea in tonight’s 8pm kick-off.
And finally, whilst West Ham have brought James Ward-Prowse back to the London Stadium, he will be ineligible to face Chelsea tonight as well.
Let’s hope that there is plenty more exciting transfer news and rumours to come during the final 10 hours of deadline day.
