The Hammers drew 0-0 at Fulham this evening.

The game was a dull, drab affair right up until the 94th minute.

West Ham had a free kick just outside Fulham’s box but just as Jesse Lingard whipped in the cross Mike Dean blew up.

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic hit the deck like a sack of the proverbial.

Dean went to asses there incident on the VAR screen at the side of the pitch on the advice of Lee Mason.

Tomas Soucek red card farcical

Amazingly, Dean gave Soucek his marching orders. If we fail with our appeal, the Czech ace will miss three games.

David Moyes addressed reporters after the match and shared what Mitrovic told him about the incident after the game, as quoted by Football.London:

“Mitrovic said it was accidental.”

Let’s just hope the red card gets overturned. Surely Mitrovic can help with that decision as well.

West Ham absolutely cannot afford to lose Tomas Soucek for three games.

After an abysmal display against Fulham, a point was a decent result at the end of the day.

Once again, however, the game and end result was overshadowed by Mike Dean.
