West Ham fans react to ExWHUemployee’s Danny Ings claim

Some West Ham United fans have reacted to ExWHUemployee claiming that David Moyes could try to sign Southampton striker Danny Ings in the summer, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Thursday February 4th).

The Hammers have to rely on Michail Antonio as their only senior centre-forward option between now and the end of the season.

Moyes decided against bringing a new striker to the London Stadium in January.

West Ham do have Mipo Odubeko of course but he is far from the finished article.

David Moyes chose to keep his budget until the summer and we just need to back him. He knows what he’s doing.

The Scot absolutely has to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the end of the season, however.

And ExWHUemployee has claimed that Southampton hitman Danny Ings could be an option for West Ham.

The former Liverpool ace, 28, would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers. He is hard working and never stops running for his team.

Ings in now in the prime of his career and would be able to offer West Ham three years or so at his very best.

40 goals in 85 appearances for the Saints is no mean feat. On his day he is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the Premier League.
