Big blow for Nottingham Forest with 27-year-old key man reportedly a real doubt for the West Ham United Premier League clash.
Nottingham Forest play host to West Ham United in the Premier League at the City Ground on Saturday.
Hammers boss David Moyes is under intense pressure after Sunday’s 6-0 mauling at the hands of Arsenal, with the club’s owners seriously unimpressed with the manner of the defeat and the subsequent fallout.
West Ham were absolutely flying just six weeks ago, but an awful run of form has seen our hopes of a top six finish take a real dive.
Now we need to put a couple of wins together in order to get back in contention in the race for the European spots.
Forest away will be far from easy, but it does seem like they have one very big injury doubt indeed for the game…

Nottingham Forest man reportedly a big doubt for West Ham clash
According to West Ham’s official website, Gonzalo Montiel is very doubtful to be fit for the Hammers clash after picking up an injury against Newcastle last weekend.
Forest have Chris Wood out with a hamstring as well. So West Ham should be looking to go to Forest and get all three points, that’s for sure.
Moyes will be absolutely desperate for his team to turn up and get the win that he needs so badly.
Things can change very quickly in football, and the Hammers have a very decent run of games coming up where we can definitely put a run of positive results together.
Montiel being unavailable will be a huge blow for Nottingham Forest, with three points a must for Nuno Espirito Santo against West Ham.
Maybe, just maybe, the stars are aligning for the Hammers this weekend. Nothing less than all three points will do, that’s for sure.
