Mark Noble wants Scott Parker as new West Ham manager
Scott Parker already has three Championship promotion-winning seasons on his CV, with Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley.
Although his record in the Premier League is underwhelming, he would give West Ham a strong chance of an immediate return.
Another reason Parker could be a solid appointment is his connection to the club, having made over 100 appearances as a player.
The 45-year-old would “seriously consider” rejoining the East London club, as he looks to enhance his coaching reputation.
TEAMtalk has also reported that West Ham’s sporting director, Mark Noble, is “particularly keen” on the potential move.
The pair are said to have “significant mutual respect” after playing together at Upton Park from 2007 to 2011.
Their existing relationship could be a major advantage for Parker compared to several other candidates for the role.

West Ham have yet to announce that Nuno will not be in the dugout next season, but that does not appear to be in question.
Once the Hammers confirm Nuno’s exit, their next priority will be to identify his successor before making any other decisions.
