Arsenal play host to West Ham United in 10 day’s time, and Jarrod Bowen and Idris Elba have been having some banter ahead of the clash.

The feel-good vibes have returned to West Ham, somewhat, since the arrival of Graham Potter, whilst Arsenal are going through a tough time with injuries right now.

Jarrod Bowen has only recently returned to action, and he has highlighted how he noticed the difference immediately in training following Potter’s appointment, when watching training from the sidelines.

Next up for the Hammers is a clash with Brentford at the London Stadium on Saturday, before we head to the Emirates to take on Arsenal the following weekend.

I fully expect us to give Arsenal a really good game.

Our footballing style is a more cohesive and easy-on-the-eye one now.

And the next step for Potter will be to start picking up results consistently.

What Idris Elba told Jarrod Bowen ahead of Arsenal vs West Ham

It’s probably a good time to play the Gunners right now.

The North London outfit only have three fit forwards, so could we put a serious dent in their title challenge for a third consecutive season?

Jarrod Bowen certainly thinks so, although Arsenal supporting Idris Elba may not agree.

The two met in support of the ‘Premier League Kicks Scheme’ – an initiative that creates opportunities for young people who are at risk of anti-social behaviour.

And Elba responded when Bowen told him he’s looking forward scoring and celebrating against the Gunners on February 22nd, as quoted by Sky Sports:

I said to him, ‘you know we’ve got the game in a couple of weeks, be careful’. He said he’s going to score and do the celebration so I said to him, ‘no don’t worry, you’re not going to score’.

Let’s hope that Jarrod Bowen does score at the Emirates, and Idris Elba gets to witness his celebration first hand.

It will obviously be a very tough game for the boys against the Gunners, in spite of their numerous injury problems.

However, I have a feeling that we could cause a really big upset against Mikel Arteta’s side.

Hopefully Bowen does the business for West Ham against Arsenal.

If he does, Elba and his fellow Arsenal fans may well start thinking we have a hex over them.
