West Ham already making a name for themselves across Europe

With just three games to go in Euro 2020, analysts have crunched the numbers and worked out how many minutes each Prem club has accumulated at the tournament as part of a data-driven Euro 2020 Vision study.

After securing European football following a record-breaking Premier League season, West Ham have had a strong presence at the Euros.

West Ham have the fifth highest number of minutes at the tournament out of all Premier League clubs.

And the east Londoners have the 19th highest number of minutes at the tournament out of all clubs in the world.

Hammers in world top 20 clubs featured at Euros and top five in Prem

The Irons have more minutes at Euro 2020 than a host of so-called “big” clubs including Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Napoli, and Arsenal.

David Moyes’s side have also been named among the top 20 most featured clubs at Euro 2020 according to the data.

The Hammers have racked up 1,712 minutes in the competition so far meaning they have been the 19th most featured club in the world and the fifth most featured club from the English top flight.

West Ham’s strong performance could get better still with Rice potentially involved in another two matches.

Hammers minutes dwarf Arsenal and surpass Liverpool

The Hammers midfield ace has clocked up 368 minutes while Andriy Yarmolenko has played 444 mins. Czech mates Soucek and Coufal have both 450 mins.

In fact, the Hammers are only behind Spurs (2,278 mins), Manchester United (2,352), Chelsea (3,384) and Manchester City (3,944) in terms of Euro 2020 minutes from Premier League clubs.

Arsenal have less than half of West Ham’s 1,712 minutes at the competition (721 mins) and find themselves as only the 11th most featured Premier League club.

In other West Ham news, Moyes has missed out on yet another reported target, this time to Rangers.

The Scot has been given a boost, though, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent a clear message to Lingard over his standing at Man United.

And the Hammers boss has praised linked away star’s quality and professionalism.
