West Ham will try to sign Sheraldo Becker from Union Berlin in the summer transfer window, after a ‘concrete bid’ was made for the winger in January.
That’s according to German football journalist Christian Falk who told Caught Offside that the Hammers and Everton are both keen on the Union Berlin attacker.

In the end, the Hammers failed to sign anybody on deadline day. And it seems as though Moyes was keeping his powder dry for the summer…
West Ham to go back in for Sheraldo Becker
The Hammers are lining up a summer move to sign the Union Berlin ace.
That’s according to Christian Falk who told Caught Offside:
“Both West Ham and Everton are interested in Sheraldo Becker. We’ve just had it confirmed that Union received a concrete offer on Monday, though it’s not immediately clear which of the two submitted it. Union, however, now have a chance to potentially secure Champions League football next year and they’re still in the cup, so that’s why they were reluctant to sell Sheraldo. But in the summer they know they could lose him. He’s got a contract that runs until 2025. I could imagine seeing him switch to the Premier League in the summer.”
I really feel like Becker could make a big difference for David Moyes’s side next season.
Becker is absolutely rapid and players with a real kind of directness that we seem to lack at the London Stadium. He can play on either wing, in the number 10 position or even as an auxiliary striker.

Give Me Sport recently described the Union Berlin ace as ‘lightening quick’.
He has a real final product as well with eight goals and seven assists in 27 games to his name for Union Berlin so far this season (Transfermarkt).
The 27-year-old will add real depth to Moyes’s options next season and will provide strong competition for our attacking midfielders and wingers.
Union Berlin could demand around £13 million for the Suriname international in the summer transfer window (Yahoo).
And if West Ham sign Sheraldo Becker for that kind of money in the summer, I’ll be over the moon.
