West Ham are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to fill the London Stadium for the crunch last 16 clash with Freiburg.
West Ham have it all to do when Freiburg come to the London Stadium for their Europa League last 16 second leg on Thursday.
The Hammers must overcome a 1-0 first leg deficit in a do-or-die game to make the quarter-finals.
West Ham already effectively know four of the seven teams they could face there.
And there are some mouthwatering potential last eight ties in prospect.
Do-or-die tie last 16 tie for West Ham
David Moyes’ side were rewarded for topping their group with home advantage for the second leg.
But that home advantage threatens to be seriously diminished with thousands of empty seats remaining for the game.
That’s after UEFA handed the Hammers the ridiculous 5.45pm slot for the clash.
The manager, Vladimir Coufal and others have issued rallying cries to West Ham fans for the big decider.
Earlier today I revealed there are still over 12,700 tickets unsold.

UEFA call hits ticket uptake hard
That’s after the Hammers sold a paltry number of tickets in the 24 hours between Monday 11am and Tuesday 11am.
Now West Ham have wheeled out Jarrod Bowen in a video appeal to fill the London Stadium for Freiburg.
This evening West Ham have posted a selfie video in which Bowen makes an appeal to fans to come together to sell out the game and make the quarter-finals ‘together’.
Bowen may be a West Ham legend. But it’s fair to say he doesn’t have the presenting skills of his famous father-in-law and Hammers nut Danny Dyer.
‘Let’s get together’ urges Bowen
But the Hammers’ main man is doing his bit to try and make this Thursday the latest in a long line of West Ham nights to remember in recent years.
“Hi everyone, massive game on Thursday,” Bowen says.
“Looking forward to seeing you all there.
“Let’s all get together and get into the quarter-final.”
The Hammers also included a link for supporters to purchase the remaining tickets.
Let’s take UEFA frustrations out on Germans
The top source inside the club told Hammers News that they are predicting a gate of between 52-55k for the match – which would be between 8-10k short of capacity.
West Ham can thank UEFA for the lack of uptake.
The 5.45pm kick-off means thousands of fans are expected to take time off work in the middle of the week and battle peak rush hour to get to the London Stadium in time for the early kick-off.
West Ham fans have vented their anger at the decision.
But let’s take that frustration out on Freiburg by as many of us getting there by hook or by crook.
West Ham fans can purchase tickets for the game on the club’s website.
