Liverpool are eyeing up a West Ham United managerial target to replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.
Jurgen Klopp will leave Anfield when this current season finishes, and Liverpool apparently could replace him with someone West Ham fans are crying out for.
Hammers manager David Moyes is under real pressure right now, and as things stand, he still hasn’t been handed a new contract with his current one set to expire in the summer.
There are plenty of top coaches out there who I believe could come in and improve upon what Moyes is serving up, certainly from a football quality standpoint.
Make no bones about it, Ruben Amorim is the absolute perfect manager to come in and take the Hammers to the next level, and it has been claimed that he’s on the radar of the club’s owners to replace Moyes (Claret and Hugh).
However, it seems like we could be facing a losing battle in the race to appoint the 39-year-old Sporting manager…

West Ham’s 39-year-old dream appointment could replace Jurgen Klopp
According to a report from the Mirror, Amorim is a lead candidate to replace the German as Liverpool manager this summer.
Pep Guardiola once described Amorim as one of the best coaches around (Tribal Football), and he’s not wrong.
He deploys a 3-4-3 system that switches into a 5-2-3 when defending. His likes his team to play a really aggressive high press, and in order to get this to work, his players have to be highly energetic and physically robust.
You only needed to watch Sporting’s clashes with Premier League side Arsenal in the Europa League last season to see what incredible football the Portuguese coach has his side playing.
Amorim has only been managing for six years and has been in charge of Sporting since 2020.
Since then, he has transformed the Portuguese giants into one of the most enthralling teams to watch on the planet.
The 39-year-old guided Sporting to the league title in the 2020/21 season and the league cup in the same campaign. He also won the same cup competition a year later – a trophy that he guided Braga to in the 2019/20 season.
His side are currently sitting at the top of the league, one point clear of second placed Benfica with a game in hand.
I would love Amorim at West Ham but unfortunately for us, it seems like he could be the man to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. What a shame it will be if he heads to Anfield rather than the London Stadium.
