Ogbonna, who earns £65k-a-week according to WT Foot, has been absolutely sensational for West Ham this season.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, he has been missing from action since early February after injuring his ankle during our FA Cup clash with Manchester United.
The 32-year-old was arguably leading the race for the Hammer of the Year award before he got injured.
Let’s hope he returns to action as soon as possible because we miss him badly.
The Athletic claims that Angelo Ogbonna will be rewarded for his fine form this season with a new contract offer from West Ham.
That is 100 per cent the right call from the Hammers, regardless of the Italian’s age.
The former Juventus ace is undoubtedly one of the most important players David Moyes has at his disposal.
He’ll be 33 before the start of next season. Oggy still has so much left to offer the east London outfit, however.
