West Ham reportedly make £10.3 million Attila Szalai bid and receive immediate response

West Ham have made a £10.3 million bid for Attila Szalai according to a report from Enson Haber.

Unfortunately for the Hammers, however, Fenerbahce are allegedly looking for closer to €20 million for the 23-year-old defender.

Central defence is an area where West Ham boss David Moyes really needs to improve at the London Stadium this summer.

The Scot needs to bring in more quality competition and cover for the likes of Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Issa Diop.

It would be ideal if youth was on the side of any player Moyes brings to the Hammers as well.

West Ham make Attila Szalai bid

It seems as though the Hungary international is a key target for the East London outfit this summer.

A £10.3 million bid has been lodged by West Ham for the 23-year-old’s services according to Enson Haber.

That bid has allegedly been rejected, however, with Fenerbahce holding out for closer to £17 million.

Szalai really does have absolutely everything.

The physically imposing Fenerbahce centre-back seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.

Standing at 6ft 4in tall, the 13-capped Hungary international is an imposing figure. He is incredibly strong, athletic and dominant in the air.

West Ham would be wise to get this one wrapped up asap. Perhaps we could end up getting him for around £15 million.
