West Ham United will take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals at Anfield on December 20th.
Liverpool are set to play host to West Ham in the Carabao Cup next month, after our superb win over Arsenal two weeks ago.
Hammers boss David Moyes would have been disappointed to have drawn yet another ‘Big Six’ side away from home in the cup, but the good news is that our tie is sandwiched in the middle of Liverpool’s Premier League games against Manchester United and Arsenal.
So Jurgen Klopp may well be forced into heavily rotating his team, especially as it seems like they’re back in the race for the Premier League title this season.
West Ham absolutely have to go to Anfield with no fear whatsoever, and try to take the game to the hosts. It’s a one-off cup tie where anything can happen on the day.

It will still obviously be a very tough game for us, but I reckon we’re more than capable of making it through to the semi-finals of the competition.
One thing’s for sure, the Hammers players will have plenty of support from the travelling Claret and Blue army on the day…
West Ham announcement made ahead of Liverpool Carabao Cup clash
The Hammers have already sold out our ticket 6,000 allocation for the game at Anfield next month.
The West Ham Supporter Services took to X today to provide an update for those trying to obtain tickets:
That makes me incredibly proud. To have sold out a 6,000 allocation five days before Christmas for an 8pm kick-off, with a 420 mile round trip required really is a sign of our spectacular support.
You know what they say…West Ham really are massive!
Hopefully the players will give the fans who travel up to Liverpool something to shout about at Anfield. It’s about time our away fans had a big performance to enjoy.
West Ham will go head-to-head with Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals in roughly five week’s time. And it’s great to know that the players will be cheered on by so many of our travelling fans on the night.
