West Ham outcast Maxwel Cornet has sent a cryptic message on social media after the latest snub from David Moyes.

With Mohammed Kudus unavailable and Lucas Paqueta injured, many fans thought Maxwel Cornet would finally get his chance to shine for West Ham this month, starting with the game against Brighton.

Not a bit of it.

Despite the Hammers crying out for attacking impetus and pace in the drab 0-0 draw, Cornet was once again left on the bench by David Moyes.

Cornet sends cryptic message after latest Moyes snub

When it comes to Moyes and certain players there are a number of conspiracy theories floating around among some West Ham fans.

Every manager has their favourites and Moyes will be no different at West Ham.

On the flip side there will always be players with whom a manager – Moyes or otherwise – does not necessarily click.

And that certainly appears to be the case with the Scot and Ivory Coast attacker, who has often been left out of matchday squads altogether this season.

‘Never let someone…’

Now West Ham outcast Cornet has sent a cryptic message after the latest Moyes snub.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Cornet posted a picture of himself in training with the words: “Never let someone make you think you can’t.

“Because what you have no one is going to get it for you.”

It’s easy to see why Cornet might be aggrieved.

All signs point to departure

The 27-year-old arrived in a £17m deal from Burnley 18 months ago. And he has made just two Premier League starts ever since.

Yes he suffered a rare injury which kept him out for five months last season.

But he is said to be fully fit and pain free. Yet despite groans from the manager about fixture pile-ups and burnout, Cornet has been given just one solitary minute in the league for West Ham this season.

The snub against Brighton is surely the biggest indication yet that Cornet is on his way out of West Ham.
