Carlos Soler is Hammers bound, but another deal is apparently on the cards as well.
The West Ham manager is clearly still very active in the market on transfer deadline day.
It has been widely reported that the Hammers’ main focus is to shift on some fringe players before the window slams shut.
And because we’ve been successful with that, Lopetegui has the wriggle room to make some more signings.

The Hammers’ transfer business continues to go from strength to strength on transfer deadline day.
Lopetegui seems to be having more luck shifting on some of the fringe players, and as a result, he’s now mounting another assault on the market.
This time, a Chelsea player could be London Stadium bound.
According to the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg, West Ham are now trying to sign Carney Chukwuemeka on loan from Chelsea.
The 20-year-old hasn’t featured regularly enough for Chelsea, and a move away from Stamford Bridge is definitely needed for him.
So is he someone we should be targeting?
Carney Chukwuemeka to West Ham makes perfect sense
The 20-year-old joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in the summer of 2022 for around £20 million (BBC).
Chukwuemeka is a central midfielder by trade, although he can operate in more attacking roles as well, and he’s a hugely talented young player.
With Soler on his way to the London Stadium, will the former Villa man get much game-time? Probably not.
However, this is clearly a signing being made by Lopetegui with one eye on the future.
He possesses incredibly technical ability, real physicality and plays with incredibly refreshing vigour and commitment.
I think Carney Chukwuemeka would be an exceptionally exciting addition for West Ham on deadline day.
