So West Ham United are seemingly eyeing up a move to sign an extremely talented Chelsea forward in the summer transfer window.
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui has begun the summer transfer window impressively, with the additions of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
However, the Spaniard will be well aware that he has so much more work still to do, if he’s to oversee some genuine progress at the London Stadium.
One of Lopetegui’s main priorities now should be to sign a top-class centre-forward powerhouse, and Jhon Duran appears to be his main target.

However, the Hammers head coach is clearly casting his net far and wide, and lining up alternative options to the Colombia international this summer.
The latest name to be linked with a move to West Ham is a very exciting one as far as I’m concerned…
West Ham make summer transfer window bid for Chelsea attacker
The Hammers have seemingly just tested the Blues’ resolve for one of their talented forwards.
Now it just remains to be seen whether they accept our bid or not.
According to a report from Africa Foot, West Ham have lodged a £13 million bid for Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana.
Chelsea signed the powerful 21-year-old front-man from Molde for around £8 million in January 2023 (BBC).

He has only made four appearances for the Blues so far, and hasn’t scored for them yet. However, he did bag four goals in 15 games for Burnley last season, whilst on loan at Turf Moor.
The 5ft 11in front-man possesses pace in abundance and is a real handful for opposing defenders with his supreme physicality.
David Datro Fofana would be a really smart addition for West Ham, if we manage to sign him for just £13 million in the summer transfer window.
Whether or not Chelsea will be prepared to accept that kind of fee for the Ivory Coast international remains to be seen though.
