The Hammers don’t have a great record away at Newcastle.

This team managed by David Moyes is made of stern stuff, however.

The Scot will be keen to strengthen his options during the summer transfer window.

West Ham already have a fairly strong looking starting XI. But how could the Hammers line up if Moyes brings in three of his key transfer targets?

Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Nikola Milenkovic, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Said Benrahma, Jesse Lingard, Pablo Fornals, Tammy Abraham

That looks like an extremely strong starting XI.

We would be more than happy with those three signings this summer.

David Moyes is prioritising the signings of a striker, a centre-back and Jesse Lingard according to Claret and Hugh.

Signing Lingard is at the very top of Moyes’s agenda (Claret and Hugh).

Meanwhile, Abraham and Milenkovic are key targets for the West Ham boss as well (Daily Mail and La Nazione).

Exciting times ahead for the Hammers

West Ham taking on Newcastle will be a strong indicator of exactly what lies in store for us this season. And if the West Ham board back Moyes to sign the three players mentioned above, we think we could have yet another cracking season.

The Hammers should realistically be able to sign all three players. There really is no reason why not. And that team above should be able to give any side a good game next season.
