West Ham United are hoping for several injury boosts ahead of their huge relegation six-pointer against Wolves on Friday night.
Frankly, it is almost impossible to imagine West Ham United staying in the Premier League this season unless they claim three points against the division’s bottom side.
What did you make of Adama Traore’s performance?
Has he won you over?
It was hardly ideal, then, that West Ham were taken to penalties after 120 gruelling minutes against Leeds in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Several key players missed the game and Nuno Espirito Santo provided an update on most of them after the clash.
With that in mind, Hammers News looks at the latest West Ham injury news and potential return dates.
Crysencio Summerville
Crysencio Summerville’s importance to the cause at West Ham simply cannot be overstated.
Summerville has a calf injury and has now missed three games since suffering it against Brentford in the FA Cup.
There is hope that the Dutchman is not seriously injured and when speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Nuno said that the club are “assessing” Summerville.
“Cry’s closer, we are assessing,” he said.
Potential return date: April 2026

Konstantinos Mavropanos
Key defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is another hugely important player in the club’s bid for Premier League survival.
Mavropanos suffered a head injury while playing for Greece over the course of the international break and was forced to miss the Leeds game due to concussion protocols.
Thankfully, Nuno confirmed that the big centre-back was set to return for Friday’s game with Wolves.
How do you feel about fans booing Max Kilman? 😳
“Dinos was due to the protocol, he had a concussion with the national team,” said the Irons coach.
“I think he’s allowed contact again from Tuesday, so he will be an option.”
Potential return date: Friday, 10 April 2026 vs Wolves
Jean-Clair Todibo
Though perhaps not quite as important as either Summerville or Mavropanos, Nuno could do with having Jean-Clair Todibo available.
The Frenchman has come on leaps and bounds in recent months, but he suffered a calf injury only minutes before West Ham lost to Aston Villa late last month.
His return date is slightly less clear than the situation with Mavropanos, but Nuno did provide a positive update after the game.
“JC, it’s closer, we are assessing,” he said.
Potential return date: April 2026
Callum Wilson
Callum Wilson may not be a starter for West Ham at this point of the season but his experience and goalscoring nous will be needed in the final few games of the campaign.
The striker missed the Leeds game with an unspecified injury and Nuno confirmed that they were assessing his fitness ahead of the clash with Wolves.
“Wilson, it’s closer, we are assessing,” he said.
Potential return date: Unknown
Nuno did not mention either Mads Hermansen or Alphonse Areola in his round-up to TNT Sports.
Hermansen was not in the squad at all for the Leeds game, while Areola was forced off due to injury and replaced by young goalkeeper Finlay Herrick.
