West Ham hero Niclas Fullkrug has broken his silence once more, delivering a powerful new message to under pressure manager Graham Potter.
Niclas Fullkrug has issued a new no-nonsense statement that is clearly intended for Graham Potter as tensions continue to mount at West Ham.
The German striker has not contributed as much as he or the Hammers would have liked in his debut season due to injuries.
But he has certainly made his mark since returning to the fold – on and off the pitch.
West Ham fans hailed Fullkrug a hero after he spoke candidly about their failure to beat Southampton last weekend.
Honest Fullkrug clearly won’t be silenced at West Ham
The German called the team “s—” and suggested many of his teammates weren’t listening to Potter’s tactics.
Fullkrug also questioned the team’s weak mentality, saying they are conceding late goals because half the team retreats and stops playing football when in the lead.
Potter did not take kindly to Fullkrug’s outburst, saying the Hammers striker should have kept his feelings for the sanctity of the dressing room.
After just three wins since taking charge in January, Potter is already feeling the heat.

That was clear both pre and post match when he took West Ham to his old club Brighton on Saturday.
There were remarkable scenes as Potter was involved in a heated exchange with a reporter over Fullkrug.
Angry Hammers supporters aimed several Fullkrug chants at Potter after he dropped the Germany star – despite having no other quality bona fide striker options.
When asked about the chants after West Ham threw away a 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 in the last five minutes, a spiky Potter issued a blunt response to Hammers fans.
One of the chants aimed at Potter was that the big German ‘he says what he wants’.
Supporters were relieved when someone finally had the guts to come out and front up about the club’s unacceptable season.
West Ham hero Fullkrug fires new warning to Potter
They have been less than impressed with Potter’s handling of the situation.
Another chant West Ham fans aimed at Potter and the team was ‘the German’s right, we’re f—— s—-‘ after the team once again surrendered points at the death.
Now West Ham hero Fullkrug has fired a new warning to Potter after speaking out again.
Potter was filmed losing his cool after West Ham’s Brighton collapse.
Many fans welcomed seeing their mild-mannered manager finally showing some passion as Potter said it was time to start blaming West Ham’s players.

German striker tells Potter he can’t hide from the truth
It has been pointed out that there is little difference between what Potter has now said following the Brighton defeat to what Fullkrug pointed out a week earlier.
And now the big German has made that point himself – saying Potter and his teammates can’t hide from the truth after he was proved right.
However, he is not doing it to be a bad egg but rather to try and rally the troops for the final four games, starting with bitter rivals Spurs this weekend.
“The last weeks have been tough,” Fullkrug said on Instagram.
“There’s no avoiding the truth.
“But we have to stick together and try to finish the season on a positive note!
“Come On You Irons.”
It’s gone somewhat under the radar but Potter aimed a clear dig at Fullkrug in his post-match rant after leaving the Amex to a chorus of boos from both sets of fans.
Potter told the press: “If you want me to swear, I can swear” in a nod to Fullkrug using expletives to describe the team’s performances.
It is good to see players like Fullkrug care enough to stand by his strong words.
There is a reason supporters have rallied behind him – because he is saying exactly what they are all thinking after just 13 wins from the club’s last 53 Premier League games since January 2024.
If the team really want to answer the criticism from Fullkrug and now the manager, there’s no better place to start than against Spurs.
