As the players lined up before the match the cameras focused in on Rice and he could be seen mouthing and singing along to the West Ham anthem Bubbles.

Rice can clearly be seen signing along mouthing: “Nearly reach the sky, and like my dreams they fade and die. Fortune’s always hiding…”

Brilliant. You just love to see it.

In a classy gesture that says everything about the team spirit at West Ham, Rice then held out a shirt bearing the name of his Ukrainian West Ham teammate Andriy Yarmolenko before giving it a tap for luck.

Try telling West Ham fans Rice is desperate for a move to Chelsea after that.

It comes after Rice shouted “Irons” when being interviewed about the Europa League draw against Sevilla.
