Jarrod Bowen has been on fire for West Ham United this season, and he has carried his fine form on into England training.

England face games against Malta and North Macedonia over the next five days, and West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen will be hoping to feature heavily in both games.

Bowen, 26, is the only Hammers star currently with the Three Lions squad, after Gareth Southgate refused to call up the in-form James Ward-Prowse.

The former Hull City star was included in Southgate’s England squad last month as well, but he seemed completely lost when playing due to the incredibly boring, ultra-defensive tactics.

It’s little wonder why Bowen has worked his way back into the Three Lions setup – he has been absolutely terrific for David Moyes this season.

The hard-working winger has nine goals and three assists to his name in 16 games for West Ham in all competitions so far this term (Transfermarkt).

And there is no sign whatsoever that he’s slowing down…

Jarrod Bowen wows in England training

The England team were being put through their paces by Southgate and his staff at St George’s Park this afternoon.

And England’s official Twitter account posted a video showing Bowen scoring an absolute cracker that would have caught everyone’s attention:

Wow! Bowen really does look sharp there, and Southgate must be hugely impressed by the 26-year-old Hammer.

The West Ham winger has elevated his game to a whole new level entirely this season, and the exciting thing for us is that I truly believe there is even more to come from him.

Jarrod Bowen should really be pushing Gareth Southgate now for a regular starting spot in the England team, and these next two games will be crucial for him if he is going to do that.

In fairness though, all I’m concerned about is that he continues to produce the goods for West Ham. And give Bowen his due, he has certainly been doing that this season.
