West Ham United earned a vital three points away at Arsenal on Saturday.
All of a sudden, a top 10 finish in the Premier League table seems to be well within West Ham‘s reach, after the incredible victory over Arsenal.
Declan Rice looked absolutely lost on the Gunners’ bench after being hauled off
And that would have been very pleasing to see for Graham Potter, his players and the West Ham fans.

The Hammers didn’t give Arsenal a sniff, and the boys thoroughly deserved their victory in the end.

Potter hasn’t had an easy ride since taking over at the London Stadium, but the win over Arsenal will give the West Ham head coach and his players a huge boost.
Every single player to a man put in exceptional performances, even the much maligned Jean-Clair Todibo showed us all what he’s really capable of.
Hopefully the win over the Gunners will be the catalyst for the Hammers to really kick on now.
The feel-good feeling seems to be well and truly back at West Ham.
Two special West Ham ‘guests’ in away end at Arsenal
With a game against Leicester to come now on Thursday, the Hammers could well find themselves within spitting distance of the top 10 very soon indeed.
A top-half finish has to be the target for Potter and his players now.
The Hammers beating the Gunners gave everyone involved with the club huge belief that we are actually heading in the right direction.
West Ham fans will obviously be absolutely buzzing after Saturday’s 1-0 win against Arsenal.
And the cherry on the cake for the West Ham fans is that academy graduates Kaelan Casey and George Earthy were both in the away end at the Emirates to witness our famous victory.
One lucky away fan captured the moment on X, via @WHUFCallum_:
How good is that to see. Two of our own in the away end at The Emirates watching on as the boys delivered a massive win – absolutely sensational stuff!
West Ham culture needs to change, and that’s what’s happening
The fact that we have our young players buying into everything is absolutely fantastic if you ask me.
Earthy is currently on loan with Bristol City, and scored a fantastic brace on Friday night to earn his side a win against Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, Casey has been involved with the first-team setup all season long.
These players are the future for West Ham, so it’s vital that Potter has them involved in everything the club does.

That said, the fact that Earthy and Casey went to watch West Ham against Arsenal in the away end at The Emirates really was going above and beyond.
The culture at the London Stadium has needed changing for quite some time. We need players who want to be here, rather than just go through the motions and pick up their monthly cheque.
With a whole host of bright young stars coming through the ranks, the future is very bright for West Ham.
Everyone seems to be buying into Potter’s methods and the club’s traditions as a whole.
West Ham are a great family club at heart, and yesterday’s win over Arsenal proved that, with two of our brightest young talents sitting side by side the away fans in north London.
