West Ham supporters will have one eye on Tottenham’s results for the remainder of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Spurs are the Hammers’ closest rivals in the relegation battle, just one point ahead with seven games to go.
Tottenham decided to replace Igor Tudor with new manager Roberto De Zerbi out of desperation during the recent international break.
West Ham fans have since sent a clear message to the former Brighton head coach that they are not at all scared by his arrival.

How worried should we be about De Zerbi joining Tottenham? 😟
West Ham fans not concerned by Spurs’ Roberto De Zerbi appointment
Hammers News asked West Ham supporters on our new platform, TalkingPoints, and on Facebook, how they feel about De Zerbi joining Tottenham.
The response was clear, with the majority of the 200-plus comments suggesting he will not have a great impact at Spurs.
This would be fantastic news for the Hammers, who have seven chances to overtake their North London rivals in the relegation battle.
“Spurs’ last three managers have not hit the ground running, which shows how toxic their club is,” a fan wrote. “De Zerbi will not be any different, apart from being richer from his crazy salary.”
Another posted: “De Zerbi’s record shows he has nearly as many losses as wins, so maybe we are being overly concerned.”

Two more comments read: “Unless he’s got a magic wand, Spurs won’t be improving that much”; “considering he’s only gone there for the money, not that worrying.”
This team stays up ahead of Spurs 😎
Only debate is Dinos or Todibo….
One Hammers supporter warned De Zerbi that Tottenham will already be relegated by the time his message reaches the players.
“By the time he finds his feet, Spurs will be relegated.”
Meanwhile, another showed their disregard for De Zerbi by saying that “he’ll be a good Championship manager” next season.
Considering the Hammers are currently in the relegation zone, it appears that fans are feeling supremely confident about their survival chances.
