West Ham fans praised Pierre Ekwah Elimby after his display for the club’s under-23’s against Wolves yesterday.

The Hammers lost the game 1-0. We were missing many of our top players due to international commitments, however.
Elimby joined West Ham in the summer from Chelsea and he has already made a big impact at the London Stadium.

Originally it was thought that the teenager would play for the Hammers’ youth teams during his debut season.
Elimby has really impressed during pre-season for the senior team and for the under-23’s so far, however.
The 19-year-old has proven that not only is he very good in possession, but more importantly that he has the physical capabilities to cope with the robust and intense nature of Premier League football.
His performance against Wolves yesterday further underlined his quality.

The 19-year-old was everywhere yesterday. He put it about physically, his passing was crisp and concise and he displayed real energy and dynamism that would have undoubtedly caught the eye of David Moyes.
He clearly has a very bright future ahead of him at the London Stadium.
And bringing him in from Chelsea now looks like a real coup for the the Hammers.
