Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham from Manchester United in the summer of 2024.
West Ham paid just £15 million to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the club, and he has proven to be a stunning addition for us.
And Wan-Bissaka admitted that he joined West Ham because of the exciting project on offer at the London Stadium.
Graham Potter is clearly a huge fan of the 27-year-old right-back, and absolutely raved about him not long after taking over as the new Hammers head coach.

Wan-Bissaka has always been an exceptional defender, but he has proven this season that he has far more strings to his bow.

The former Man United man has been one of our best attacking outlets, and I have no doubt that he will go from strength to strength between now and the end of the season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – West Ham’s best signing since Jarrod Bowen
Jarrod Bowen joined the Hammers from Hull City for around £20 million in January 2020.
The Hammers skipper has gone on to establish himself as a club legend in the making.
And Wan-Bissaka can do the same thing if he stays with us for the next five or six years.
In 26 Premier League games for West Ham this season, the 27-year-old has bagged two goals and two assists.

During those appearances, he has averaged 1.8 tackles, 1.7 interceptions and three clearances per game. He has made 39.7 passes per match on average and has recorded a completion rate of 82% (Who Scored).
Wan-Bissaka has been head and shoulders above almost every other West Ham players this season, with Bowen the only one who’s even close to him.
He’s been our best signing in recent years by a long, long way, and the Hammers fans are all saying the same thing about him.
West Ham fans convinced one thing will happen with Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Hammers fans have taken to X to responded to an official club post about the brilliant right-back.
One X user simply said, “Hammer of the Year for me“.
A second Hammers fan raved about Wan-Bissaka, “Incredible baller.“
Whilst a third West Ham fan suggested the right-back has been our best player this season, “HOTY.”
A fourth supporter agreed with that notion, “Best player this season“.
And there was another HOTY shout from a fifth fan, “HOTY.“
Whilst a sixth simply described Wan-Bissaka as “The real goat.“
The only other West Ham player who can challenge Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the Hammer of the Year award this season is Jarrod Bowen.
As things stand, I think it’s actually the 27-year-old defender who’s out in front.
There are still 11 Premier League games to be played this season, but if Wan-Bissaka continues this fine form, there will be only one winner of the HOTY award.
