West Ham fans are all saying exactly the same thing about Luis Guilherme after Wolves defeat

Luis Guilherme made his first competitive start for West Ham United against Wolves on Tuesday night.

West Ham lost 1-0 to Wolves and Luis Guilherme only lasted 45 minutes before being hooked.

It was recently claimed that Luis Guilherme has not been impressing during West Ham training sessions.

However, Graham Potter finally gave him his big chance in the Premier League at Molineux on Tuesday night.

Unfortunately for him though, he made absolutely no impact on the team whatsoever.

It has been suggested that West Ham are ready to sell Luis Guilherme in the upcoming summer transfer window.

If the Brazilian does move on from the London Stadium this summer, it’s highly unlikely that the Hammers owners will get anything like the money they paid for him nine months ago.

West Ham fans think Luis Guilherme sent message vs Wolves

Unfortunately for the Brazilian though, the message he sent to the gaffer wasn’t a positive one.

He spent the first seven minutes of the game on the floor, trying to fix his boots, before eventually changing them to a longer studded pair.

His performance for the rest of the half left so much to be desired. It was genuinely like watching a young boy who won a competition to play a Premier League game.

It seems like Guilherme is nowhere near the levels required to play Premier League football.

And many West Ham fans are thinking along the same lines.

One Hammer on X offered a really simple take on the situation, Luis isn’t a Premier League level player.

Meanwhile, X user @@BeselidhjaFc said, Brazilian Fraud, thanks Steidten.

Whilst @WestHamFanTone wanted to see more intensity from Guilherme, Luis was tidy but didn’t seem intense enough for me.

@cockneyboywhu thinks West Ham should try to sell the former Palmeiras man, What was Al Nassrs offer again?

Then @Johnjam10John made a prediction about the South American teenager, I doubt whether Ferguson or Guilherme will start another game this season.

Another X user – @td67coyi – took to the platform to criticise Guilherme, This team is rubbish, I’ve no idea why lots of people were saying it was great. Guilherme is miles off the game and Ferguson is awful, a modern day Neil Mellor. Jwp and Paqueta getting the run around too.

Meanwhile, @bobclark56 thought the Hammers winger was off the pace, West Ham haven’t been good enough so far this half, not strong enough & lack of desire, Ferguson & Bowen had half chances, Guilherme not in it, lacklustre, got to step up 2nd half show some threat & desire to win.

Another Hammers fan simply suggested that Guilherme looked lost:

As far as I’m concerned, the signing of the 19-year-old from Palmeiras in the summer was a truly bizarre one from the start.

West Ham must sell Luis Guilherme

The Hammers were crying out for a powerful box-to-box midfielder and an elite young centre-forward with pace and power to burn.

However, Tim Steidten bizarrely decided that Luis Guilherme was the man West Ham needed.

Who knows, he may well come good in a few years, but we really don’t need him right now.

Graham Potter has so much work to do at the London Stadium this summer.

And his first order of business should be to ship Luis Guilherme out of West Ham.
