However, there appears to be the potential for a U-turn. Indeed, Jemez has recently suggested he could now stay at West Ham next season.

There is little sense pretending to know exactly what happened on the training pitch following his appointment in January, but the uptick in defensive performances when Jemez arrived cannot be ignored.
West Ham have decided to stabilise following their relegation. Nuno Espirito Santo will be staying on as manager, so keeping a key assistant in the form of Jemez does feel wise.
