West Ham took an almighty step towards Premier League safety with a wonderful 4-0 win in a relegation six-pointer at Bournemouth.
It was a Sunday stroll by the seaside for the Hammers as goals from Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, Declan Rice and Pablo Fornals put the seal on a brilliant week for West Ham.
The victory lifted West Ham up to 13th in the table, six points clear of the bottom three – which is essentially seven points given David Moyes’ side’s vastly superior goal difference.
To a man West Ham were superb and showed no signs of tiredness from the roaring comebacks against Arsenal and Gent in the days prior.

With another European semi-final on the horizon, things are finally starting to look up for West Ham.
Supporters are cherishing every moment they have left with beloved captain Rice, who is expected to leave West Ham in the summer in pursuit of Champions League football and competing for the top trophies.
But the travelling Hammers faithful are doing their bit to try and convince Rice to stay.

The away supporters chanted ‘One more year Declan Rice I pray, playing football the West Ham way’ on repeat – adding another year each time around.
The chant was sang with even more gusto after Rice smashed home his second goal in three days to set West Ham on their way to this comfortable win.
Next up for West Ham is Liverpool at the London Stadium in midweek. And the win massively takes the pressure off that match.
With the major step towards safety West Ham can seriously focus on the Europa Conference League.
And in the highly unlikely event that Rice did end up staying at West Ham, the Hammers fans will have certainly played their part.
