West Ham face a big problem after our Europa Conference League final win as UEFA hit us with two separate charges.

Fiorentina have also been charged after the behaviour of their fans before kick-off in Prague city centre. 22 of their fans were arrested whilst just one Hammer suffered the same fate (BBC Sport).

There is obviously no excuse for the behaviour of the individuals who threw the cups and vapes at Fiorentina skipper Cristiano Biraghi.
And it seems as though UEFA are set to act…
West Ham face big problem after Europa Conference League final win as UEFA hit us with two separate charges
The BBC are reporting that European football’s governing body are set to throw the book at the Hammers after the behaviour of some of our fans out in Prague.
Celtic were fined around £25,000 back in 2021, whilst Rangers were hit with a £4,700 fine in the same year (Scottish Sun).
Back in 2019, Manchester City were reprimanded by UEFA for ‘throwing of objects’ as well, and were handed a £13,600 fine (Manchester Evening News).

However, it remains to be seen what kind of fine will be thrown West Ham’s way for the two separate charges.
One thing’s for sure, there had better not be any more incidents on our European travels, because then there may be a scenario where our fans face a ban for away matches.
And obviously nobody wants that.
UEFA will obviously hand West Ham a punishment after the incidents on Wednesday night. It’s just such a shame that few people ruin it for the thousands of other proper fans.
