The Hammers are in deep, deep trouble and are currently sitting just outside the relegation zone. Each and every one of our relegation rivals seem to be really strengthening their respective ranks whilst we sit around and watch on.

However, the latest transfer link will give the West Ham fans some hope…

West Ham eyeing Hakim Ziyech swoop

Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport that the Hammers are exploring the idea of signing Chelsea’s Morocco international.

There is so much competition for places at Stamford Bridge in the attacking midfield department now, after the recent influx of quality attackers.

Ziyech probably needs a move away from Chelsea, and I believe that he’d be a great option for West Ham.

The 29-year-old has quality and skill in abundance, and he is the type of player who would capture the imaginations of the West Ham fans instantly.

Hakim Ziyech would provide brilliant competition for Jarrod Bowen at West Ham, and he would also provide a completely unique option for Moyes in the number 10 role.

Whether Chelsea would be prepared to sell the Moroccan remains to be seen. There have been rumours that the Blues are willing to sell him for around £30 million though (90min).

And I think that would be a great deal for West Ham.
