Former West Ham striker Carlos Tevez has just been sacked from his third managerial job in four years.
Tevez played for West Ham in the 2006/07 season, contributing seven league goals to the ‘Great Escape’ from relegation.
The forward then played for Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus in a two-decade-long career.
Since he retired from playing in 2021, Tevez has managed three Argentinian top division clubs in short-term spells.
Oh wow 👀 How has Tottenham’s draw with Leeds made YOU feel about the relegation battle?!
This weirdly feels like a boost?
Carlos Tevez’s difficult managerial run continues after latest sacking
Tevez’s latest coaching job was with Talleres in the Primera Division, where he won 13 of his 35 games in charge.
Talleres qualified for the play-offs with a fourth-place finish, but they lost 1-0 to Belgrano in the round of 16.
The defeat marked Tevez’s last game as manager, as he was dismissed after less than 12 months at the club.
The 42-year-old’s two previous managerial jobs came with Rosario Central (2022) and Independiente (2023-24).

He lasted just five months with the former and nine months with the latter, suggesting his coaching career has not been successful.
Now a free agent again, it will be interesting to see whether Tevez looks for a fourth job in Argentina.
The timing of his sacking aligns with the end of the 2025/26 season in Europe, if he were interested in returning to the continent.
Perhaps he would even be interested in returning to West Ham if Nuno Espirito Santo leaves in the next few weeks.
