West Ham United boss David Moyes has made a complete 180 as interesting transfer target list emerges.
This upcoming summer transfer window will be a really important one for West Ham manager David Moyes.
Since returning to the London Stadium in 2019, Moyes has repeatedly insisted that he wants to bring the ‘Red Bull model’ to the London Stadium.

However, that hasn’t worked out to be the case. RB Leipzig only sign players 24 or under. Last summer, only two of Moyes’s eight signings fit into that category – Flynn Downes and Gianluca Scamacca.
And it seems as though his next spending spree will be pretty much the same…

According to a report from The Sun, Moyes is targeting Premier League proven players including the likes of Joao Palhinha, Harvey Barnes and Jack Harrison and James Ward-Prowse.
Those players listed are 27, 25, 26 and 28 respectively.
Now, I actually would like West Ham to sign all of those players. What bothers me is that Moyes constantly tries to sell us a so-called philosophy that quite clearly isn’t true.

Did he spin the RB model line because it sounded good and it was something he thought we as fans wanted to hear?
Or does he not actually know what the RB model entails? I suspect that it was the former.
One thing that is very clear is that if Moyes genuinely wanted to implement the RB transfer model, then he certainly doesn’t any more. His list of summer transfer targets proves that.
And it would be so much better for the Scot if he just admitted that so we all know the direction we are heading as a club..
