West Ham United are obviously planning a big clear-out at the London Stadium this summer.

Graham Potter has a huge task on his hands if he is to guide West Ham back to being perennial challengers for the European places.

Julen Lopetegui left a real mess behind at the London Stadium, and now Potter’s job will be to clear all of that up by moving on most of the deadwood this summer.

There will be a major squad rebuild at West Ham this summer.

Potter is said to want to add more youth and dynamism to his Hammers ranks.

However, there will undoubtedly be one or two surprise exits during the off-season as well.

West Ham are now desperate to sell Emerson Palmieri

Emerson Palmieri could well be finished at the London Stadium it seems.

And the Hammers are not hanging around when it comes to getting rid of him.

According to a report from The Guardian, West Ham are ‘inviting’ offers for Emerson ahead of the summer transfer window.

David Moyes raved about Emerson during his time in charge at West Ham, describing the 30-year-old as a brilliant player.

Back in the summer of 2024, Emerson Palmieri could have left West Ham to join Galatasaray, but he remained at the London Stadium in the end.

Now could well be the time for him to move on.

What Graham Potter really thinks of Emerson Palmieri

The Italy international lost his place in the team to Ollie Scarles recently.

However, he did start our last game away at Everton.

Does Potter really rate the former Chelsea man though?

Well, it has been claimed that the West Ham head coach has deemed Emerson to be surplus to requirements at the London Stadium.

The 30-year-old should fetch the Hammers a decent fee this summer, so I wouldn’t be surprised one little bit if he is sold.
