West Ham United reportedly could try and sell one of our longest serving players in the January transfer window.
The January transfer window is just around the corner, and West Ham boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do, if he is to guide his side to a successful 2023/24 campaign.
A couple of top quality signings are needed, but the Hammers boss may have to move a few players on in order to generate the cash needed for new arrivals.
And one of those players who could be set for the chop is Michail Antonio, according to a report from FootballTransfers.
The 33-year-old has been in absolutely woeful form this season, with just two goals to his name in 12 Premier League games, or 823 minutes (Transfermarkt).
And it seems as though his time at West Ham could be done…

West Ham January transfer window exit on the cards for Michail Antonio
The Jamaica international has regressed badly over the past 12 months or so, and he has been well off the pace this season.
Annoyingly, Antonio seems to be making more headlines with his ridiculous comments on his podcast than he has been with his performances for the Hammers – something that talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor criticised him for heavily just last week.
Moyes has clearly not been happy with the former Nottingham Forest attacker in recent weeks either, and dropped him for our last two games following his awful performance against Brentford two weeks ago.
The way that he prevented Said Benrahma from scoring a tap-in into an open goal was selfish in the extreme, and it cost us at least a point on the day.
A front three of Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta is clearly the way to go up until the January transfer window, when West Ham can then sign a new striker to replace Antonio.
The 33-year-old’s days at the London Stadium are clearly numbered, and that’s good news as far as I’m concerned.
He’s our third longest serving current player, and has been a great servant for us. All good things come to an end though, and he should leave before he tarnishes his legacy at West Ham.
