Reporter’s video shows three West Ham stars chatting to David Moyes transfer target Jesse Lingard before the match at Manchester United.
Some West Ham fans might be sick of the sight of the name Jesse Lingard.
But the club’s players clearly enjoyed seeing the man himself when West Ham travelled to Old Trafford to face Man United yesterday.
West Ham and Newcastle are reportedly locked in a battle to sign Lingard from Man United this month.
A large section of West Ham fans are sick and tired of the seemingly never-ending Lingard saga. And Newcastle fans will soon get to know the feeling.
Hammers News has deliberately held off reporting on the drawn out Lingard affair of late, especially since Newcastle entered the running.
But with just over a week until the window closes and with Moyes said to be desperate to bring Lingard back, there is no avoiding it.
We’ll all be put out of our misery one way or another soon enough.
In the meantime, though, it seems three West Ham stars may have been doing their best to help Lingard decide his next move!

That’s after a video posted by Football London’s West Ham reporter Tom Clark showed Lingard jovially chatting to Hammers skipper Mark Noble, Ben Johnson and Ryan Fredericks before the devastating last gasp 1-0 defeat.
“Mark Noble, Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson on pre-match Jesse Lingard tapping up duty,” Clark said with his tongue firmly in his cheek on Twitter.
Lingard and the West Ham trio can be seen chatting and laughing during the warm-up at Old Trafford.
And Lingard then kicks a ball at the Hammers as they peel off to continue their preparations.
The short video is evidence, if it were needed, that Lingard clearly formed close bonds during his time at West Ham.
Whether that counts for anything much might become clearer in the next week.
Scott’s message appeared to suggest Lingard may not have much choice.
That could mean reports that Man United are unwilling to allow him to join West Ham may be true. Or that West Ham simply have not made a move while Newcastle have.
