West Ham United fan favourite Said Benrahma looks like he means business next season.

Things did not quite go according to plan for the Algerian following his big money move to West Ham last season.

David Moyes was very outspoken about the playmaker, demanding more from the former Brentford man in all aspects.

Benrahma struggled to truly ignite after being used sparingly by Moyes following big money Hammers move

Benrahma did finally get the monkey off his back when it came to finally opening his West Ham account during the run-in as a beautifully curled strike from outside the box secured a point at Brighton.

The form of Jesse Lingard kept Benrahma out of the side.

But as yet West Ham have not been able to get the Manchester United midfielder signed permanently.

So the stage could be set for Benrahma to finally shine, just like West Ham fans believe he will when given a consistent run in the team.

Video shows Benrahma’s dedication as playmaker works out in preparation for imminent West Ham return

And the 25-year-old has proved his dedication in a video that has emerged on social media.

Benrahma is shown doing an intense workout during his holiday time in preparation for his imminent return to West Ham’s pre-season training.

The video shows Benrahma doing parachute runs in a park, lifting weights and doing high intensity, quick feet ladder sprints in a gym.

The video was re-posted on Twitter by Hammers account West Ham Central.

Good attitude bodes well and Algerian should get more opportunities to impress as action-packed season looms

As he was away on international duty with Algeria over the summer, Benrahma has been given time off.

That will also be the case with West Ham’s other players involved in internationals since the season ended.

Algeria last played on June 17th – a 5-1 friendly win over Liberia. So Benrahma is due back with the West Ham squad, presumably when they return to London from Scotland this week.

The video proves Benrhama has the right attitude. And he will have the chance to shine on the European stage too next season.

In other West Ham news, conspiracy theories surrounding Issa Diop have been squashed.

And in terms of transfers, the Hammers are said to be ‘in talks’ with what could turn out to be their most important signing for years.
