There are two major events for West Ham within 24 hours next week as the excitement ramps up for the summer.

Fresh from being crowned European champions, everyone connected with West Ham is floating around like pretty bubbles in the air right now.

Next season West Ham fans can sing ‘Champions of Europe, we know what we are’ and the like to their Premier League rivals.

Yes sadly the Hammers will be saying goodbye to beloved captain Declan Rice this summer.

But the hope is that the club get their £100m valuation and invest it well in some top quality replacements to make the team and squad even stronger.

Discovering when West Ham fans will have the chance to sing about their trophy glory to their big rivals and the start of their summer transfer drive all kicks off next week.

There are two major events for West Ham within 24 hours next week as excitement ramps up for the summer.

Because the summer transfer window officially opens next Wednesday, June 14th, followed by the release of next season’s Premier League fixtures a day later.

The summer window opens on June 14 and will close at 11pm on Friday September 1.

Initially – until July 1st – it is for the competition of domestic deals only. But given West Ham are said to be predominantly eyeing British players, it could be a busy month if the Hammers have their house in order.

Transfer window opens and Premier League fixtures announced

Other deals are also done with foreign clubs during this time but do not become official until July 1st.

West Ham are being linked with a host of top players including Palhinha, Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Harvey Barnes.

Then on Thursday, June 15, the Premier League fixtures for the 2023-24 season will be released at 9am.

West Ham will find out the full calendar – which will be subject to change due to TV picks and the fact we are in the Europa League again.

All eyes on key dates, teams and that trip to unique Kenilworth

The order of the 380 fixtures will be announced at that time, but the broadcasters will subsequently shuffle some of the days and kick-off times in each match round.

The Premier League has confirmed the season will start on Saturday, August 12, 2023, though the 2021-22 and the 2022-23 campaigns both kicked off with a Friday night fixture so the opening game could be on August 11.

West Ham fans will be looking out for the usual fixtures against rivals like Tottenham and Chelsea as well as champions Man City.

But there will also be many West Ham romantics looking out for that Luton away fixture and a trip to Kenilworth Road.

Whether West Ham will be playing at home first game and/or last game and on Boxing Day will also be one of the first ports of call for fans.
