Tottenham Hotspur ace Oliver Skipp absolutely raved about West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, when speaking to the Evening Standard.

The 22-year-old Hammers ace has arguably been the Premier League’s best defensive midfielder over the past two seasons.
Rice has been truly outstanding for West Ham this term. He is now a fully fledged England international as well.
The former Chelsea graduate is absolutely vital to West Ham and David Moyes has to do everything within his power to keep him at the London Stadium for the foreseeable future.
The 22-year-old is absolutely adored by the Hammers fans.
It seems as though he has admirers outside of East London as well.
Oliver Skipp raves about Declan Rice
The Tottenham midfielder who is currently on loan with Norwich City looks up to the West Ham ace.
The 20-year-old Spurs man told the Evening Standard how he will be seeking advice from Rice:
“I think that they [Henderson and Rice] would be more than willing [to help me]. I mean, Declan Rice has played over 100 Premier League games and he’s not too much older than me, so he’s definitely the one I’d be looking to talk to and just to see how he’s going about it. Obviously, Henderson is a Champions League winner so they are definitely players that you can learn off, watch and see what they do. I think with Henderson and Rice, a big part of their game is their leadership qualities. You see, on the pitch, the vocal demanding, positive attitude.”
Skipp is just 20 himself.
And learning from the likes of Declan Rice is exactly what the Tottenham youngster should be doing.
The West Ham ace has already established himself as one of the very best players in the Premier League.
And whoever sanctioned the deal to bring him to the club needs a huge pay rise! The Hammers didn’t pay a penny for him and now he’s worth at least £100 million.
What a player and what a man. It’s clear to see that Rice is highly respected by his peers as well.
