West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui is keen to move three players in particular on from the London Stadium this summer.
Julen Lopetegui replaced David Moyes at West Ham earlier this summer and boy, has he made a huge impact already.
The Spaniard has made eight incredible new signings for the Hammers this summer, and now the attention will turn to balancing the books and moving on some of the deadwood.
West Ham are in a position of strength when it comes to PSR, but it will still be hugely beneficial for us if some of the high earning fringe players are sold this summer.
West Ham now have a bloated squad and an inflated wage-bill, and that obviously has to change.
The good news is that Lopetegui is clearly a very ruthless man, and a new claim has emerged regarding three players the 57-year-old wants gone from the London Stadium.
It’s time for the Spaniard to get rid of those who are either not good enough to fit into his system, or just don’t have the physical capabilities needed to succeed under him.
Three West Ham players who Julen Lopetegui wants gone
Moyes made some brilliant signings during his time in charge at the London Stadium, but he oversaw some horrendous deals as well.
Now Lopetegui faces the task of atoning for some of Moyes’s transfer errors.

However, that will obviously be far easier said than done.
According to Hammers insider Sean Whetstone, there are three Hammers who Lopetegui does not want at the club anymore.
However, it is suggested that all three will be difficult to move on.
Whetstone said, “West Ham hope to move on Kurt Zouma, Maxwel Cornet and Danny Ings this summer, all of which are surplus to requirements under new head coach Julen Lopetegui club sources have confirmed adding they will be hard to move.“
If those three are moved on, the Hammers would lose around £310k-a-week from the wage-bill.
It goes without saying that that would be vitally important to our finances, and it would enable Julen Lopetegui to bring one or two more new players to West Ham.
Kurt Zouma was great for us during his first two seasons at the club, but he has regressed badly over the past 12 months.
Meanwhile, Danny Ings and Maxwel Cornet have both been absolutely atrocious for the Hammers since the word go.
West Ham will be in a far better place if we can move on all three players before the transfer window slams shut in just over two week’s time.
