West Ham United could be set to make our third summer signing under Julen Lopetegui very shortly.
Julen Lopetegui is on the verge of making two signings official for West Ham – Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham.
Guilherme has completed his medical and is expected to be announced as a Hammers player imminently, whilst Sean Whetstone claims Foderingham is in line to become our third-choice goalkeeper.
Lopetegui’s summer business is really in full flow now, and next up could well be the signing of another attacker.

In fact, strengthening his forward department should be one of the main priorities for Lopetegui, after David Moyes allowed Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals to leave the London Stadium in January without replacing them.
Lopetegui may be close to completing a deal for Guilherme, but that won’t be enough. He needs to bring in someone who’s more experienced than the Brazilian as well – a player who can hit the ground running next season.
Jota Silva is someone who has been on the Hammers radar all summer long, although it was claimed yesterday that his potential move to the London Stadium is actually not close to happening at all.
Now though, another conflicting claim has emerged…
Third West Ham summer signing could be on the way
talkSPORT claim that the 24-year-old has been offered to West Ham, so it remains to be seen whether we actually make a move for him or not.
The attacker was in fine form out in Portugal last season, with 15 goals and seven assists to his name for Vitoria de Guimaraes.
Silva is a right-footed left winger, and that’s exactly the type of player we need right now. West Ham haven’t got one single right-footed left winger at the club right now.

The Portuguese ace possesses pace in abundance, a wicked shot and he has enviable technical ability.
Jota Silva would offer us something completely different on the left flank and for just £17 million, he’d be a very smart addition for the Hammers.
West Ham could be very close indeed to making our third summer signing it seems.
And if the Portugal international ends up joining the Hammers, we could have a seriously dangerous attacking lineup at the London Stadium next season.
